My name is Shalev Moran.

Born 1985 in Jerusalem. Today I live in Copenhagen.

I co-founded the political-SciFi project Speculative Tourism together with Mushon Zer-Aviv. I help organize the Game Arts International Assembly.

I work as a Game Director and Lead Narrative Designer at Bird Island. Previously I worked as a game designer at Plarium and StikiPixels and as a lecturer at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. I was also the Games Program Curator for Print Screen Festival, and wrote and presented a games segment on Israeli Channel 10.

Before videogames I've done a lot of street art as well as performance art, some of which can be found in the Past Lives section on this site.

I received my B.A. from TAU's Honors Program in the Humanities and Arts, and my M.A. in Game Design from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.

I've also done some journalistic work. In addition to Channel 10, I wrote for Time Out Tel Aviv and Nana10, mainly about culture and technology.

To invite me for a lecture or an exhibition, or for any other matter, feel free to shoot me an email.
