Moving Without a Body
Created for KELIM School of Choreography.
Recreated for A MAZE. /Berlin 2016.
Oh Man, Oh Machine is a workshop series for choreographers and performance artists, led by artist Daniel Landau. The series explores the intersection between the (body-centric) choreographic practice and the digital state. Landau invited me to design and co-instruct the third workshop, "Moving Without a Body".
I introduce the participants to ideas of performance in digital gamespaces. Together we test the limits and possibilities of movement in-game, and create a number of videogame choreographies.
